Néve Designs Named 2008 Best of Boulder

BOULDER, COLO. (September 24, 2008) –Néve Designs, Inc. was recognized with the honor of the 2008 Best of Boulder Award in the Women’s Apparel category. This award was presented by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA). Néve was established in 2002 by Rhonda Swenson and continues to remain headquartered in Boulder, Colorado.

Néve recently moved their North American headquarters to larger facilities within Boulder, to support their growing business.

Néve Designs Launches Women’s Spring Collection for 2009

BOULDER, COLO. (August 27, 2008) – Building on the success of its Fall/Winter fashion and sportswear sweaters and accessories, Néve Designs is please to announce the introduction of its first-ever collection for Spring. Néve has created a vibrant line of 100% Pima cotton, fine-gauge art knit sweaters, tops and skirts for women living the active lifestyle.

These comfortable lightweight knits are based on many of Néve’s traditional designs, but with a fresh mix of color style. “There is nothing else out there that uses color, pattern and design the way Néve does,” said Daphne Herrick, apparel buyer for Weekends in Boulder, CO, “That’s what makes them so unique and our customers recognize that in the brand.” Details like two-way zippers and contrasting overlock stitching provide the quality, function and style Néve has become known for.

Néve Moves to a Larger Facility – Expands Operations and Team

BOULDER, COLO. (August 27, 2008) –Néve Designs, Inc. has moved to a new, larger facility in Boulder, Colorado, to support their growing fashion sweater and accessory business, and to accommodate its growing sales, marketing and customer service team.

Néve’s new North American headquarters features a 10,000sq. ft., full-service warehouse and fulfillment center, along with an in-house design studio and product showcase.
“Having more functional space for design and production, with the added bonus of a quality team, will allow us to efficiently serve our current customers and provide opportunity to grow into new avenues in the industry,” said Néve’s CEO, Tom Irvine.

The move also heralds the homecoming of long-time Néve employee Kathryn “Kat” Guay, from maternity leave (…It’s a girl named Claudia). Kat will focus her efforts on marketing Néve’s online presence, as well as customer service.

Neve Designs Weaves Itself Into The Community Through Partnerships And Events

BOULDER, Colo. (August 1, 2007) — Neve Designs, creators of women's and men's fashion sweaters and accessories today announced it has partnered with several organizations and events to illustrate its commitment to the community, health and wellness as well as the outdoor industry.

HealthLinks Clinic
The Neve Designs Trudy sweater is named after a wonderful friend and humanitarian, Trudy Turvey. As founder and director of HealthLinks Clinic in Boulder, Colo., Trudy provides therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation and support services for cancer survivors and their families. To support Trudy and her noble endeavor proceeds from the sales of Trudy sweaters will be donated to the HealthLinks Foundation to help provide care for patients otherwise unable to afford clinic services.

"I am truly honored that Neve Designs has become such a huge supporter of the HealthLinks Clinic and its Foundation whose mission is to provide financial support, education and community outreach for cancer survivors and their families," said Trudy Turvey. "Through our partnerships with company's like Neve, we can help provide services to promote healthy, active survivorship."

Women's LUNA Mountain Bike Team
Neve Designs is a sponsor of The Luna Women's Mountain Bike Team providing them with sweaters and accessories. The Luna Women's Mountain Bike Team includes Racing and Ambassador divisions. Both are integral components of the program, dedicated to bringing the community of women together through the sport of mountain biking. More importantly, both groups hope to raise public awareness of breast cancer and The Breast Cancer Fund.

"I have a huge passion for mountain biking and helping women in our community and throughout the world," said Rhonda Swenson, founder and creative director of Neve Designs. U.S. Ski Team
Neve Designs was selected by The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) to be a licensed sweater and accessories company for the organization until April, 2011. The U.S. Ski Team Logo will be seen on Neve's mock sweaters, vests and accessories. The terms of the agreement will run from May 1, 2007 until April 30, 2011 and will provide Neve the use of U.S. Ski Team marks and athletes for advertising and promotional purposes.


Neve Designs Joins the U.S. Ski Team as a Licensed Sweater and Accessories Licensee

BOULDER, Colo. (April 30, 2007) — Neve Designs, creators of women's and men's fashion sweaters and accessories today announced it will be a licensed sweater and accessories company for the U.S. Ski Team through April 2011.

"We are very excited about having Neve as a partner," said Ted Morris, vice president of sales and marketing for the U.S. Ski Team. "Neve's products and designs illustrate its dedication to providing fit, style, and function for athletes and consumers alike. We look forward to working with Neve through marketing and promotional campaigns in the coming years."

The U.S. Ski Team logo will be seen on Neve's mock sweaters, cardigans, sweater vests, hats, headbands, and scarves. The terms of the agreement will run from May 1, 2007 until April 30, 2011 and will provide Neve the use of the U.S. Ski Team mark and athletes for advertising and promotional purposes.

October 2005: Tom Irvine Brings Savvy and Strength to Néve Designs

Also new this year is the addition of Tom Irvine to the executive team at Néve Designs. Tom brings to the table 25 years of business experience and financial strength.

"With Néve Designs, I see an opportunity to help Rhonda (Swenson) achieve her vision for the company," says Tom. "I want to be involved in a business that infuses passion with quality and achievement… Everything is in place for Néve to really take off over the next few years."

In addition, and perhaps more importantly, Tom has shown a certain knack for delivering big results in sports and marketing. In 2001, he acted on his unbridled passion for athletics and started the Prime Alliance Professional Cycling Team, which soon became the #1 ranked men's team in the United States. Tom remains active as both a participant and ambassador for the sport.

With Tom on board to oversee the business side and help build the rep network, Néve Designs is poised to take a quantum leap in the snow sports apparel industry.
